“How lucky am I to have something which makes saying goodbye
so hard?”
Who knew that I would actually cry tears over the end of my
college career? Well, it happened.
Last Wednesday the sun literally set on my college career at
the University of Arkansas. The most
gorgeous full moon you’ve ever laid eyes on was giving our campus this extra
perfect glow when I walked out of the final for my night class – my last
assignment ever at the U of A. I took a
victory lap around campus just to feel all the feels one more time.
It is impossible to express the positive experience that
I’ve had here at the University of Arkansas.
In four years I’ve changed into a totally different
person. It’s crazy to think who I would
be without this experience. The Lord
used certain people, places, trials, and and triumphs to stretch me much more
than I ever would have expected or asked for – but I am so glad He did.
I could go on for days about those experiences, all of them
running across my mind as I type this goodbye letter, but it would take
forever. I guess I’ll save the stories
for my grandkids. ;)
THANK YOU to the University of Arkansas administration,
faculty, staff, to Chi Omega advisors and friends, to the Student Alumni Board,
the Student Government, the Communication and Journalism Department, Cross
Church Fayetteville, Fellowship Fayetteville, and the special mentors along the
way. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for the
opportunity to do college so boldly…it’s all because of your love and support! I
am “Maggie” because of each of you.
I am forever indebted
to the University of Arkansas and Fayetteville for the growth I’ve experienced
in four short (tooooo short) years. So
much pride in being a member of the Razorback family - forever and ever! Pig til I die.
XOXO,
M
